ifempower Goals for Female Entrepreneurship

Synergies of ifempower

ifempower will develop an internationally useable complex and transversal methodology and curriculum of female entrepreneurship, strongly relying on mentorship and project-based learning; through the synergies of ifempower:

Developing Entrepreneurial Women

which elaborated a joint Masters in Gender and Entrepreneurship

Innovative Women Entrepreneurship of the Future

targeting students from technical fields

Open Mind

creating MOOC to introduce students to the fundamentals of social entrepreneurship while focusing on gender gaps

Entrepreneurship mentoring for young graduate women

targeting HEI student about to start up own business or join family business

The ifempower module will support universities to reinforce their development towards the Entrepreneurial University, thus taking a pro-active stance in putting knowledge to use and in creating new knowledge. In the frame of ifempower, Female Entrepreneurial Support Points will be created by each partner. These will operate as carrier development offices, while coordinators working in the support points will brief any interested people in the field of female entrepreneurship.

The 1st ifempower Multiplier Event

ifempower project partners at the 1st Multiplier Event in Seville.

The first Multiplier Event of the ifempower project took place on 11 September, 2019 in Seville, Spain, hosted by Andalucia Emprende. Accordingly, the background study of ifempower and the recently developed curriculum and teaching material for the international module launched by universities targeting female students were presented first.

Then we opened up the scene and provided the opportunity for the invited guests to present their activities in 3-minute long elevator pitches. We had 10 presentations in this section delivered by experts and stakeholders working in the field. As a results, 4 national and regional initiatives and another 3 projects supporting female entrepreneurs we delivered by colleagues coming from Spain, Finland, Iceland, Hungary, Sweden, Austria and […]
