The Regional Agency for Entrepreneurship and Innovations (RAPIV), which is the Coordinator of the Interreg Danube transnational project Women in Business, organizes a session titled ‘Unlocking Women’s Entrepreneurship Potential’ at the 18th European Week of Regions and Cities. The workshop will give opportunity to present the results of ifempower, represented by the Head of Division for International Cooperation at HETFA, Virág Zsár, project coordinator of the project.
The session will enable participants to discuss key issues concerning the current status of female entrepreneurship support within the EU, Policy Agenda for supporting women entrepreneurship that was developed for the Danube region as well as examples for support measures and good practices for fostering women entrepreneurship from the EU and different member states. The moderator of the workshop will be Dr. Sanja Popovic-Pantic, Chair of the EEN Sector Group Women’s Entrepreneurship. Further speakers will represent WEgate Community by Gabriela Kostovska Bogoeska; European Women’s Lobby and Business & Professional Women by Amélie Leclercq; and Innovation Region Styria by Sandra Weiß-Wallner.
