The ifempower project held its 5th Transnational Project Meeting (TM5) in the beginning of September, gathering partners from 9 different countries online to exchange the latest updates about the project. The meeting was planned to take place in Miercurea Ciuc in August 2020 but due to the COVID-19 outbreak the partnership decided to hold the meeting virtually.
Holding a virtual project meeting was necessary as partners had a number of activities that were developed in the past couple of month. The meeting was divided into 4 sessions covering the following topics: financial issues, discussion on ifempower winter and spring schools, development of intellectual outputs as well as management and communication.
Since in one year the project reaches its official ending, partners are putting most efforts in the testing of the developed activities and drawing lessons to upgrade the related methodologies. These include the teaching of the international ifempower module (consisting of a specific curriculum and teaching materials), the mentorship programme, the intensive study programmes (winter & spring schools), the entrepreneurship support points. Last but not least, the online toolkit will be released soon.
Due to the pandemic, postponed events will – hopefully – take place in the first half of 2021 as it follows:
- series of events including partners’ meeting, winter school for female students and dissemination event attracting business angels, investors and other stakeholders between 30 January – 5 February in Stuttgart, Germany;
- spring school for female students and dissemination event between 7-13 April in Miercurea Ciuc, Romania.
